Ayatul Kursi Meaning - Ayatul Kursi Translation

Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills ˹to reveal˺. His Seat1 encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.

The jinn said: "Read Ayatul Kursi, because the person who recites it as soon as he enters the house, the devil runs like a donkey, who makes a sound from behind him, runs away.

One person mentioned to Hazrat ibn Mas'ud that the person (who cast down the jinn) could only be Hazrat Umar (radiyahallahu anhu).

Everyone remained silent. "Hazrat ibn Mas'ud (radi'allahu anhu) said, "I heard RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) say to the mimbar (pulp) that the Ayatul Kursi is the highest in the Qur'an, and the ayat that encourages justice and fairness (Arabic P12 ) ) and the verse that produces the most fear (Arabic P12) is the one that produces the most hope for mercy (Arabic P12).

It is not given to any prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) before your prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and I have never spent a night without reciting this verse three times. I read it in the last 2 rakat of Vitr after Isha and when I go to my sleeping place

24) Hazrat Auf bin Malik (radiallahu anhu) says that Hazrat Abu Zar (radiallahu anhu) who was sitting next to RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) asked: "O RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) which ayat is the most sublime to Allah. Is it?" The Messenger of Allah recited Ayatul Kursi.

Hazrat Ma'az bin Jabal (radiallahu anhu) says that he kept the dates of the Prophet's (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) in a room for safekeeping. I realized that there is something missing in him everyday. I complained about this to RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). He said it was the work of the devil and that I should be on guard for him. Thus I sat in the barn that night. When part of the night passed, the devil took the shape of an elephant. When he came near the door, he changed his shape and entered through a hole in the door, moved towards the date palm and began to eat. I pulled my cloak to him and said: "I testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is his servant and messenger. O enemy of Allah, you are grabbing the dates of charity while the poor do more than that." I will surely catch you and take you to RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) who will humiliate you." On this Satan promised that he would not do this thing again.

In the morning I came to RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) who asked me about my prisoner. I said he vowed never to steal again. The prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said that he (Satan) will come again so be careful. The next night also I remained alert. The same thing happened and once again he (Satan) vowed not to steal. I left him. In the morning, I narrated the whole incident to the prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), who said that he (Satan) would come again. The same thing happened again on the third night. I caught him and this time I said, "O enemy of Allah, you have vowed twice and this is the third time (I will not leave you now). He (Satan) said, "I have children and have come from Nassabeen." . The space between Masul and Syria). If I had got anything less than this (dates) in status, I would not have come here. We left this city of yours when your prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was sent with two verses, who led us from here to Nasabien. Satan does not enter any house when these two verses have been recited. He said this three times. "If you leave me, I will show you these two verses. I agreed. He said, "Ayatul Kursi and the last verse of Surah Bakrah (Amanas Rasool ....)." Thus I let him go. In the morning I came to RasoolAllah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and told him what had happened. The prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "The scoundrel told the truth even when he was lying."

Hazrat Maa (Radiahallahu Anhu) says that after that he used to read it and fly the dates and there was no shortage in the room.

26) It is narrated by Hazrat Abu Asad Sayeedi (radiallahu anhu) that he plucked the fruits from his garden and kept them in a room. Jinnat used to come to this room and steal the fruits. This put him in trouble and he complained about it to the prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). He said, "This is a jinn. Listen carefully, O Abu Asad, when he (Jin) has entered, say.
